Post-Appointment Cleaning & Disinfecting Protocol

MASSAGE ROOM

  • Put on Gloves
  • Carefully remove face cradle cover, sheets & blanket – place in covered laundry bin
  • Place any other towels or cloths used in covered laundry bin
  • Use spray cleaner:
    • Face cradle cushion & frame
    • Massage table surface/cover
    • Massage table sides, frame, legs
    • Rolling stool & yoga ball
    • Massage room door, frame, & knobs
    • Client chair
    • End table & dresser top
    • Tools used
    • Lotion, oil & sanitizer bottles
    • Massage tools used 
    • Trash can lid
  • Disinfectant Spray (Allow to dry 10-15 minutes)
    • Face cradle cushion & frame
    • Massage table surface/cover
    • Massage table sides, frame, legs
    • Rolling tool & yoga ball
    • Massage room door, frame, & knobs
    • Client chair
    • End table & dresser top
    • Tools used

OFFICE AREA

  • Use spray cleaner:
    • Office door, door frame, knobs
    • Closet door, door frame, knobs
    • Chair
    • Bookshelf
    • Table & end table
    • Water pitcher
    • Pens & clipboards
    • Desk & stool
    • Laundry bins
    • Trash can lid
    • Card reader/phone/keyboard 
    • Exit door handles & stair railings
  • Disinfectant Spray (Allow to dry 10-15 minutes)
    • Office door, door frame, knobs
    • Closet door, door frame, knobs
    • Chair
    • Bookshelf
    • Table & end table

  • Disinfectant or dilute bleach (Allow to dry 10-15 minutes)
    • Bathroom doors, door frames, knobs
    • Faucets/sinks
    • Toilet seats/handles
    • Soap bottles
    • Paper towel/toilet paper dispensers
    • Cabinet handles
    • Water fountain

END OF DAY CLEANING & DISINFECTING

  • Complete Post-Appointment Cleaning & Disinfecting Checklist
  • Vacuum office & massage room
  • Wipe down/disinfect hallway
    • Chairs
    • Walls around doors & signs
    • Exit doors & handles
    • Stair railings
  • Close trash bags & take to car
  • Change clothes & put in laundry basket
  • Close laundry bag & take to car
